The Carpathians are paradise for people who like skiing. Popular resorts, skiing routes of different complexity, and high quality service – all these can be found in our region. Tourists can stay in hotels and private guesthouses near the slopes; they can relax and have a meal in restaurants with national and European food. In addition, there are no problems with parking, near every hotel tourists can find good and safe place for their car.
The ski centers in the region are located in the Polianytsia (“Bukovel” resort), Vorokhta, Yablunytsia, Vyshkiv, Kosiv, Verkhovyna etc. Ski resort Bukovel is located in the southeastern part of the Carpathians at an altitude of 920 m above sea level in the village of Polianytsia (Yaremche district), 30 km from Yaremche and 110 km from Ivano-Frankivsk city. For the services of tourists 65 km of ski slopes, 16 ski lifts, which were built using the technologies of leading foreign companies.
